This is the first day since the middle of November that the temperature has been over fifty degrees. That... rocks, I suppose? My desk in the apartment is right by a window. Over the past few days -- nay, weeks, even -- I have been watching the snow slowly melt away, only to be covered by a fresh layer, and then melt again. Now the streets are filled with puddles and I can hear birds... and there are dogwalkers a-plenty and I don't have to walk to work in the dark.

Another awesome thing: I finally have a production designer for my film. I... still don't have anyone to shoot it, but I'm not too entirely worried about that. Anyway, Miss Brit will be my new production deisnger. PD? Do they abbreviate it? Art director? Pretty Committee? One of those.

You know, one thing I could never do was spell Alanis Morrisette's name. I could never remember which letters were doubled. Morrissette? Morisete? Mmooriiseetee?

I am a bad procrastinator. I also consume too much soda/pop/sodapop/fizzy beverage for my own good. Before coming to work this evening I scoured my room for spare change so that I might purchase a Dr Pepper or a Mt Dew or Mr Pibb or some other abbreviation. I ran out of the cream sodas at my place. SADNESS. Sadness? Saddness. Why can I not spell all of a sudden??

Anyway. Was supposed to be A.D. on Alex's film this weekend, but one of his actors backed out because of "moral conflict" or something like that. The story is about incest, so, that's probably why. But, man, I was so ready to work my patootie off for Alex because he is nice, albeit strange, and I wanted to make sure he had reason to be a crew member upon my own film.

SPEAKING OF WHICH no one I have emailed re: crew has written me back. No one, out of the entire class. Qu'es-ce the hell? WHERE ARE YOU PEOPLES WHEN I NEEDS YOU
